Shower and tub tile

Showers cleaned along every grout line

For stalls, tub surrounds and the glass that goes with them. Lavonne or Mayron brings a brush, a steam unit and a wet-vac, and takes the rinse water with them.

Included in every shower clean

  • Walls, floor, niche and shelf, corner to corner

  • Grout lines scrubbed with a nylon brush, never wire

  • Soap scum and mineral film lifted off the tile face

  • Glass door and track wiped and rinsed

  • Drain cover cleaned and put back

  • Rinsed, wet-vacuumed and wiped dry

How a shower job is priced

Cleaning

Scrub, rinse and wet-vacuum.

  • Shower walls and floor

Stall to 4 × 6 ft, including niche and glass track.

  • Tub surround

Tub to 5 ft, walls to the ceiling line.

  • Glass door, hard-water spots

Wiped and rinsed; etched glass cannot be restored.

With a finish

The clean, then the finish, priced together.

  • Shower, clean and seal

Penetrating sealer on the grout lines.

  • Shower, clean and color seal

One even color over the grout lines.

  • Tub surround, clean and seal

    Same sealer, smaller area.

A visit with one small area still has a minimum, and the written price confirms the total.

A visit, in order

How a shower visit goes

Most stalls take two to three hours. Larger tile or heavy buildup takes longer, and we say so before we start.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Walk-through

We look at the grout, the caulk and the glass with you, and flag cracks or loose tile before touching anything.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Cover and protect

Shoe covers on, mats down, and corner guards on door frames and vanities.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Scrub

Cleaner on, a few minutes to work, then brush and steam along each line.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Rinse and extract

Rinsed and wet-vacuumed so no cleaner is left in the grout.

  5. 05

    Step 5: Photo and sign-off

We send a photo of the finished wall and go over what we found.

Good to know

Before we arrive, and what we leave alone

  • Before we arrive

    • Clear bottles, razors and mats from the shower

    • Tell us if the tile is natural stone

    • Leave the bathroom fan on if you can

    • Keep pets in another room

  • What we do not do

    • Reset loose tile or fix leaks

    • Treat mold inside the wall

    • Restore etched or scratched glass

    • Regrout the whole shower

Questions

Shower questions

Will the grout go back to its original color?

Cleaning lifts dirt and soap film. If the grout is stained all the way through, cleaning will not change its color, and we tell you that before we start. A color seal is the next step.

How soon can I use the shower?

After a clean only, once the surface is dry. After a sealer, stay out for about a day. We write the time on your price.

Do you clean natural stone showers?

Yes, with a cleaner chosen for the stone, and never with acid on marble or travertine. Tell us the stone when you text the photo.

Send a photo of the shower

We reply within one business day with a written price for the stall, the tub or both.
